SOSNOWSKI BEFORE THE KEY FIGHT
On December 18, Polish heavyweight Albert Sosnowski (44-2-1, 27 KO) will come face-to-face with Paolo Vidoz (26-6, 15 KO) in a bout for the EBU heavyweight title. The fight will take place at York Hall in Bethnal Green, London.
30-year-old Sosnowski must defeat the experienced Italian if he still seriously thinks about conquering the heavyweight division. The Pole, promoted by Krzysztof Zbarski and coached by a Hungarian Laszlo Veres, was not lucky in his last fight for the EBU-European Union belt. After a solid fight, "Dragon" only drew with an undefeated Italian, Franceso Pianeta which seemed to be a controversial decision.
Although 39-year-old Vidoz is a former European Champion, Sosnowski is a certain favourite of bookmakers who pay only from 1,28 to 1,36 per 1 monetary unit bet on the Pole's victory. The chances of the Italian are estimated approximately at 1 to 4. It's worth adding that "Dragon" used to be underestimated by bookmakers before successful clashes against Danny Williams (TKO in 7th round) and already mentioned Fransesco Pianeta.
